I am Pisey Chet, a President (CEO) of Pisey Linguistics - Freelance Professional Translation & Interpreting Services in Cambodia. I've been residing and educating in the United States of America for approximately 28 years and had been working there as a Freelance Court and Community Translator and Interpreter in the State of California for more than 20 years.

I'm currently working and holding the position as Head of Training & Translation for the Administration and Human Resource at the University of Cambodia and Head of World News Editors with Southeast Asia Television and the so called as SEATV.

The President of Pisey Linguistics was an English professor who had been teaching English at Norton and Asian Univeristies in the country of Cambodia for several years and have been working as an Interpreter/Translator with various International Oranizations and the UN such as Food for Hungry, AAR Japan, JICA, Swiss Red Cross, Health Unlimited, UNICEF, and IOM which closely cooperated with the Canadian, Switzerland, and US Embassies.

Moreover, he's recently been appointed to be the Head of Training & Translation for the Administration and Human Resource at the University of Cambodia and head of editors & translators for International News with Southeast Asia Television also known as SEATV.

President of Pisey Linguistics had also been completed his ACTFL/ILR OPI Tester Training from New York, USA and obtained a Certificate ACTFL/ILR OPI Tester, which allow him to be able to conduct the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and the Second Rate Interview in Khmer and English under the term and condition and to be approved by the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Lanugages (ACTFL) and Defense Language Institute(DLI), based in New York, USA given to those US Citizens who would like to pursue or are required to take the Cambodian Language Proficiency Test which's available in all levels and utilizing them as parts of threir career plans and working sources.
